Alright, after many movies and shows that haven’t exactly been sub-par, but more so not living up to the expectation, Marvel has returned with what’s considered the best show of 2024. I feel so torn right now, not only because of the most recent episode of X-Men ‘97, but also because it’s moving up the ranks and might potential be my favorite Marvel show, dropping Loki to #2. And trust me, that’s saying something.

What If…? season two was phenomenal, and I applaud the creative team. These stories were all incredibly unique, and facets I never considered existed. I love writing! I really, really, really, do! Sometimes me and my family have short story contests, and we had one on New Years Eve! We all sat, isolated, dead silence, and wrote stories for an hour. (Sounds fun, right? 🤪) No, it really is. All these ideas are boiling up, and settling in. We add nice touches like covers. That image above? I painted that for my cover. Raise your hand if you cried after Black Widow. I mean, there were two horrible, awful things. These two things made me think. And cry. First off, Yelena visited her sisters grave. Like, I mean, come on. Oh also Valentina tricking Yelena into thinking Clint killed Nat. (That woman) And second, Natasha never found out who her birth mother was. She technically never will. We get a little background on her, and even find out her name is Maya. Maya Lopez, to be exact. And we hear her father tell her her uncle will pick her up. Kazi, her friend and henchman also tell her they shouldn’t upset uncle. Who is uncle? Prepare to have your mind blown.

Otzi the Iceman was a mummy found in South Tyrol, Italy. He was over 5,000 years old. Is your mind boggled right now??!! Mhm, some hikers had found him, and thought he was just some hiker who had ventured off the trail, and met a terrible death. Unfortunately, they poked at him, trying to lift him and damaged the corpse. But boy, did scientists discover crazy things from him. Like, he was lactose intolerant. Bruh?? How did they find that? We later discovered, that he was murdered/ambushed. An arrow head was found in his shoulder. Found in the Otzal Alps, he was named Otzi. Our teacher asked us to write a story in regards to the iceman, using real facts. I’m telling ya, I jumped in my seat. For once, I could write what I wanted. Not like when you had to write an opinion on a given topic. I could write, anything, and just let the ideas flow. I swear, Tightrope from The Greatest Showman was playing in my head at that moment. Obviously, base it off facts, and it can’t be fantasy, but still. I finished it, and wanted to share. I hope you enjoy reading it, as much as I did writing it! Let’s admit; Sylvie is one of the MCU’s most interesting characters. She is very intriguing, quirky, and powerful. I mean, COME ON! She can take people’s minds over!! Control them like a puppeteer. (I like to think of Loki as a Magician, actually Sylvie’s nickname for him, and she as a puppeteer. A circus of mischief and madness!) No one else we know can do that! If you remember, in episode four, The Nexus Event child Sylvie was playing with figurines, before a Hunter that we recognize as Ravonna Renslayer takes her away. What happened there? What was her nexus event? I have two theories.
