Who and What is in She-Hulk

Published on Jul 24, 2022 by Amaya Jalal

She-Hulk is a lot of things, and it has become so quickly. The first being it has the WORST CGI on the face of multiverse. Second of all, it is the next biggest talk about the multiverse. Lastly, it teases a new movie and show. (Oh and btw features SOOOOO many new characters!!!!!!)

So. This is an image in the trailer, of She-Hulk breaking the fourth wall. If you’re not familiar with this term, it’s when a character looks or speaks to the camera. It would be uncommon in Marvel content, since the overall storyline is sort of like 3rd person POV. However, In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Wanda at some point stared at the camera as she was possesing a body, and it was horrific. No one really knows why Marvel chose to have Jen talk to the camera, but here we are! Most have speculated that since this series is more of a law-comedy, they really want it to fit your sterotypical law-comedy.

Remember this woman? Her full name is Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. Gee, what a narcissist. Anyways, at Comic-con, Marvel introduced a new film, called The Thunderbolts. I’ll have a whole article talking about the movie itself later, but right now we are just focusing on it’s role in She-Hulk.

So, Contessa is going around and recruiting villains for a team. (Again, I’ll get into why and all later, in another article.) She is speculated to want this big guy:

His name is otherwise known as the abomination. You probably recognize him. Congrats! You’re right. He actually also appeared in Shang Chi, fighting Wong in a ring. Well, Miss Contessa Entitlement is looking to recruit him for the Thunderbolts team.

Did you see that! You’re right. If you already knew, you probably saw Wong in She-Hulk’s latest trailer. Some are questioning why. One of the reasons could be since when we last saw the Abomination, Wong was with him, and this is a futher continuation of that. However, based on Wong’s dialogue, it sounds like he is here to talk about the multiverse, and it being unstable. So, you know me. My immediate response is, “SYLVIE. SYLVIE DID THAT. OMG SYLVIE WILL BE HERE.” Wanna know the answer? I have no idea. But most likely, yes. Yes as in she did it, and I don’t know if we will get an appearance from her. Since my girl Sylvie is the reason phases 4, 5, and 6 are called, “The Multiverse Saga” it is most likely Wong is here to recruit Jen to help out. And boy, does she have a lot on her plate, with Titania, the law firm, Wong, and someone else.

If you’re a geek, (No offense, I am too) you most likely already know about someone extra extra special at the end of the trailer. This is the image. Try to see if you can make it out.

Yeah it’s a little hard. But if we look at this person flipped around,

We can see the pointed ears of Daredevil. That’s right you, Daredevil. What’s up with his costume though? So yeah, it’s a little more yellow than red, but according to Marvel insiders, this is an early stage of the character, since his old show is not canon to the MCU, he is starting from scratch. That means, he is using an early verson of what his costume will look like. To be exact, the red and yellow are actually the colors of his early comics.

Well, I hope you enjoyed! As you know, there was a lot to unpack, and we’ll see more coming in the nine episode series, streaming August 17. I’ll see you soon!
