The main reason you should watch Loki is because it is the most important show the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) has released yet.

With Phase four of the MCU underway, there are so many new villains that will be joining! You ready?
In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which you probably know about now. But, I really really don’t mean to brag, just like I didn’t mean to brag in the article about Kate appearing, I knew about this film. But uh, no offense. No brag intended. Rintrah, is a giant bull, who breathes fire. The creativity on this character really shot through the roof, am I right? Even though, in the comics, Rintrah is actually Doctor Strange’s loyal assistant. Whether or not he becomes this, is unknown.
Also a Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness character, Shuma-Gorath is a huge cyclops, that is a familiar face to the Doctor Strange in comics. However, due to legal issues, Marvel will be calling Shuma-Gorath ‘Gargantos’ in the film.
Whilst little is actually known of this character, including their alter ego and/or powers, it’s confirmed he is the main antagonist of Moon Knight. Some have speculated he is the Sun King, a small character who showed up in comics once. This is most unlikely, but still thought.
In Thor: Love and Thunder, Gorr the God Butcher, a very well known foe of Thor in comics will be the main antagonist in the fourth Thor film. Played by the most temperamental actor in the world, Christian Bale, Gorr is also a very angered person in the comics, Helheim-bent on killing the Aesir gods.
Ael-Dan, played by Zawe Ashton, will be in The Marvels, or Captain Marvel 2. She is actually a gender swap, since in the comics Ael-Dan is a male Kree official.
A famous comic villain, Adam Warlock is set to be the main antagonist in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. He is in 631 issues, making him a major villain. He will be played by Will Poulter, who I only recognized because of his role of that annoying kid in the last Narnia film π.
Namor is an atlantean villain who has, but one goal: usurp the throne of Atlantis. He will star as the main antagonist in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. And while his cousin, Namora will be in it as well, don’t think she’ll help him. She’s a hero, of unimaginable powers.
First off, in Islam, Djinn are evil spirits that influence people to act malevolent. This is HILARIOUS to me, as a Muslim, that Marvel’s idea of a Djinn is a pink fire demon looking thing. Hands down the most hilarious thing I’ve seen in a while. Anyway, it’s appropriate that since Ms. Marvel is Muslim, they would make this the antagonist. However, Marvel’s adaptation in the MCU, is that the Djinn are a group of traveling, evil magicians. I love this idea. Can’t wait!
NICE is an organization, completely new to Marvel. It’s never been in the comics, unlike Mr. Nice. NICE is the opposite of SWORD or SHIELD, causing trouble everywhere. NICE organization will be the second antagonist to the Ms. Marvel series.
NOW I’M EXCITED!!! Kang the conquerer, one of the most famous villains from the comics, who, was also in Loki, the show that I LOVED, and also broke my heart, shattering it into tiny crumbs all around me ππ. He was “He Who Remains”, named by Miss Minutes, but his actual alter ego was never revealed. He will now star as the main antagonist, or a variant of him, (since Sylvie, uh, well, ya know…) in Antman and the Wasp: Quantamania. I’m sure he’ll continue his role in Loki as well. (I also just love how Sylvie, in the images, is like, “Dude give me the godforsaken apple and take me seriously.”)
Although in the trailer for Moon Knight, we saw Moon Knight beating the literal daylight out of a werewolf, (see what I did there) he will get his own Disney+ special on Halloween. The year it will come out, is unknown. He will also be in Moon Knight, as shown in the trailer.
In She-Hulk, the villain will be Titania, one of She-Hulk’s most common villain in the comics. She is part of Illuminati, a group of magical bad guys in the comics. At least there are several Illuminati series and groups. We’ve already had other hints of Illuminati coming to the MCU, in the Doctor Strange 2 trailer, and lots are excited for it to come to the MCU.
While we still don’t know the antagonists for other shows like Echo, (possibly Daredevil?) they surely will come out. I hope you enjoyed!
